About Me
Hey y'all!

My name is Amanda Gorzney, and I am a recent graduate from Iowa State University with a double major in Global Resource Systems and Agricultural Communications.
Upon graduation, I decided to spend some time gaining experience and traveling before entering my career. I accepted a position as a Language and Cultural Assistant in Algeciras, Spain at an intermediate school!

This blog has captured each adventure I embarked on while at ISU, and now serves to follow the highlights of my time in Spain. I may be a small town girl, but I have always had a strong desire to travel and help others. Thank goodness I found a major that allows me to do so!

I like to look at life with a positive attitude, and am known to laugh at just about anything. I am a lover of dogs, cattle, sunsets, fashion, and all things nature. Also, I have found a passion in being an advocate for agriculture, and hope to continue my adventures that allow me to broaden my horizons. Some day, I hope to be a strong agent of change within global food systems. Until then, catch me making friends with some new kiddos in Spain and maybe going for a spontaneous Vespa ride or two. :)

Sit back, relax, and enjoy learning about the adventures I begin through the camera lens and my blog posts.

Stay tuned!

~ Amanda
